After hitting Blad, charging Impala now want to mill Kabras Sugar

Impala Saracens head coach Mitch Ochola believes they can win against last year’s Kenya Cup finalists Kabras Sugar if they focus on their plan this weekend at the ASK Kakamega Showground.

Speaking at the Impala ground after whitewashing Blak Blad 57-9, the former Shujaa tactician believes with proper execution of their plans they can defeat Kabras.

“For the weekend fixture in Kakamega, we just want to focus on our plans. Execution is something we want to be razor sharp on,” Ochola said.

“Our environment is good and enabling the players to deliver the much needed performance. We are focused on improving the performance; so far so good,” he added.

Ochola at the same time has a luxury of fully fit squad to choose from this weekend and he hopes it will help him build on their season’s goals.

“No injuries encountered over the weekend so we have a clean bill of health. We however have an audit today (Monday) and this will help us plan for the weekend fixture in Kakamega,” he added.

Kabras Sugar will also be heading to the weekend’s duel exuding confidence after beating Mwamba 43-9 over the weekend at the Railways club, Nairobi.

Saracens and Kabras both have 10 points each after winning their first two matches with bonus points ahead of their weekend clash.

Saracens finished sixth last season with 45 points, 29 points behind last year table toppers Kabras Sugar and Ochola is optimistic of doing better this season.

“Ours is to take one game at a time and ensure we earn points to keep us in the race of a Kenya Cup play-off then afterwards we can eye the main trophy but at the moment our target is play-offs,” expounded Ochola.
