    As the world marks 16 days of activism against gender based violence, teenage pregnancies and access to maternal health care for adolescent girls remains a challenge. Whilst Kenya recorded a 15% increase in the number of adolescents aged 10-19 years who sought ante natal care at various health facilities between March 2020 and March 2021. Nevertheless, the lack of specialised care for this group has been cited as a key reason why most stay away.
