You cannot match our achievements, Ruto tells Opposition

Deputy President William Ruto has told off opposition leaders for criticising the Jubilee government on its achievements over the last two years.

Speaking at Uhuru market during the groundbreaking ceremony for 38km road construction in Narok on Monday, Ruto said the Opposition cannot match the achievements of Jubilee government.

He said the opposition leaders have tried to create scandals in the Jubilee government but they could not succeed as the government has set a clean record in item operations.

The Deputy President pointed out that the opposition had tried to taint the image of the government through the Standard Gauge Railway and now the National Youth Service (NYS) but they have failed.

Ruto further stated that he was proud with county governors for ensuring that devolution succeeds.

Other leaders present at the event include Uasin Gishu County Governor Jackson Mandago, Kigumo MP Jamleck Kamau, Gichugu MP Njogu Barua, and Narok East MP Ken Kiloku.

Narok County governor Samuel ole Tunai pointed out that his administration was out to ensure that Narok residents receive the best services.

On his part, Uasin Gishu County Governor Jackson Mandago called on Narok leaders to work as a team and focus on development agenda instead of engaging in wrangles.
