VIDEO: Raila wants border communities issued with IDs

CORD leader Raila Odinga has challenged the government to roll out a program to issue national identity cards to communities living along the border counties. Speaking during a meeting with members of the Pokomo Council of Elders from Tana River County, Odinga said someone was either sleeping on the job or it was a conspiracy to deny Kenyans their rights to register and vote. Odinga also challenged the state to beef up security in clash prone areas ahead of next year’s General Election.
