Uhuru Kenyatta will be a one term President ODM MP

Kajiado Central MP Elijah Memusi says the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) is well prepared to defeat Jubilee in the next General Election.

Speaking in a rally at Ekwanda in Luanda Constituency, Memusi said that the party will replicate the defeat they inflicted on Jubilee in the Kajiado Central elections and win the presidential poll.

Memusi defeated Jubilee’s Patrick Tutui in the March 16th by-election to fill the seat left vacant following the appointment of Joseph Nkaissery into government as Interior Cabinet Secretary.

“Jubilee came with cash and used state machinery to campaign for their candidate in Kajiado but the constituents still voted for CORD,” he said.

“When they come here and dish money in a bid to buy your support, don’t give in. Just eat their money and vote for ODM party leader Raila Odinga.”

The ODM MP further noted that the party is still strong and has what it takes to defeat President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2017 and make Jubilee only the second government in Africa to serve for one term, after Nigeria where Goodluck Jonathan lost to Muhammadu Buhari last year.

ODM acting Secretary General Agnes Zani called on the party supporters to get ID cards and voter’s card in order to make an impact in the next polls.

She noted that the party’s support in the county has not waned adding that ODM is stronger than before.

The party’s chairman, John Mbadi, hit out at Jubilee for allegedly failing Kenyans saying the government of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto has only stunted the country’s growth.

Other legislators present include Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya his Siaya counterpart Cornel Rasanga, Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar, Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang, Luanda MP Chris Omulele and Emuhaya MP Wilbur Ottichilo among others.
