Tobacco Control Regulations Come into Force

The fate of stringent tobacco regulations that were to come into force yesterday is uncertain.

The implementation of the regulations that require tobacco firms to put graphic images on cigarette packets has been dampened by a court ruling asking the government to provide a repository of all images usable by firms.
