They are doctoring Huduma Namba to steal votes in 2022- Ruto ally Dan Wanyama says

Webuye West Member of Parliament Dan Wanyama now claims that Huduma Namba is being doctored to enable certain people rig the polls in 2022.

He asked the government to move the Huduma Number registration to the National Youth Service from the department of registration of persons.

“We need accountability in the Huduma Namba registration, let the process be done in the open,” Wanyama said.

Bumula MP who was also in attendance asked the government to shelve the second round of Huduma Namba registration and instead, channel the funds to educating children once schools reopen.

“Let the money that they are planning to use for the second registration of Huduma Namba be used for educating our children as schools reopen,” he said.

The legislator was part of a delegation of legislators who accompanied Ruto to Bumula on Sunday.

During the church service, DP Ruto asked the hustler nation to back his 2022 Presidential bid, calling ODM leader Raila Odinga out for calling him names for associating with poor people.

“Poor people are the voters, I have to befriend them to ensure they also succeed in future” he said.

During the same service, the scandal beleaguering the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (Kemsa) also came up.

Mumias East MP Benjamin Washiali asked the relevant bodies to go after individuals who looted funds meant for fight against the coronavirus fight.

Without mentioning names, he claimed that some ODM leaders were part of the lot behind the KEMSA rot.

“ODM leaders were among people who stole the money let investigating agencies go after them, extend the investigations to banks to understand who took the money,” Washiali said.
