Property worth millions was razed down in the Monday 6am incident that occurred as students were in classes for the morning preps.

No student was injured during the incident.

The decision to close down the institution was arrived at after a five-hour meeting with security agencies and the school board of management, where the school Chairman Joshua Korir announced the closure to give them room to rebuild the dormitory and ease tension.

Bureti OCPD Kamaria Augustine said three students have since been arrested in connection with the incident.

“We have arrested three students suspected to be linked to the incident for interrogation so as to assist us with investigations. We are holding them at Litein police station and possibly arraign in court later ” said the OCPD.
