Security Laws Amendment Bill

Parliament is set to debate and determine the fate of a raft of proposals to amend security laws, to tighten the noose on terrorists and other criminal elements. The proposed amendments in the Security Laws Amendment Bill 2014 seeks to among other things, slap suspected terrorists with lengthy jail terms, and crack the whip on those radicalising the youth. And as Francis Gachuri reports, those stripping people they think were indecently dressed could land in jail for at least 20 years.
