President Barack Obamas family not coming to Kenya

The U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama and her daughters Malia and Sasha Obama will not travel to Kenya this weekend.

According to State House officials, the three will not accompany President Barack Obama when visits Kenya over the weekend.

However, no reasons have been given as to why they will not be accompanying Mr. Obama.

A State House source who sought anonymity said that the girls were returning to school after holidays.

Despite Obama not bringing along his family, he will be accompanied by a high ranking delegation from America.

He is expected in the country on Friday to co-host the Sixth Global Enterpreneurship Summit (GES) with his Kenyan counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta.
