Police hunt driver, conductor after Judy Wanjiku Nyaga pushed out of matatu, killed

Police officers are searching for the driver and conductor of a matatu from which one Judy Wanjiku Nyaga was pushed out of and killed in Juja.

A statement from the National Police Service said the duo are still at large.

“Our attention has been brought to an unfortunate incident where a lady was allegedly pushed out of a moving vehicle in Juja. The vehicle KCZ-729C has been detained in Wanguru Police Station in Mwea,” NPS said on Twitter.

The Police also assured that action will be taken against the culprits involved.

Senate Majority Whip Irungu Kang’ata has since condemned the incident and called justice for the deceased who hails from Kiharu Constituency.

“On Saturday 6th February 2021 at around 6.30 pm, she was thrown out of a moving vehicle in Juja and passed on. The driver of MEMBA SACCO KCZ 729C should be arrested NOW!” the Murang’a Senator said.
