Over 9 million Huduma Namba cards processed, 6 million collected Govt

The government on Tuesday announced that 9,154,184 Huduma Namba cards have so far been processed and dispatched.

Government Spokesperson Col. Cyrus Oguna, in a statement to newsrooms, said only 6,003,144 cards have been collected out of these.

Col. Oguna hence urged Kenyans who have already received notification messages but are yet to collect their cards to do so promptly.

“The Government has continued with the exercise of processing and issuance of Huduma Namba Cards. To date, 9,154,184 cards have been processed and dispatched, out of which, 6,003,144 have been collected,” he said.

“We are excited that the number of cards collected has continued to grow and we want to urge our people, particularly those who have already received notification messages, to go and collect their cards.”

He further stated that the second phase of registration of the Huduma Namba cards will soon be rolled out.

“For those yet to receive notification messages, they can now track the status of their card, by logging onto https://confirmation.hudumanamba.go.ke using their ID Card number,” said the government spokesperson.

“We also wish to inform our people that plans for the roll out of Phase II registration are at an advanced stage, and the date of commencement shall be announced soon. This Phase will provide an opportunity for those who did not register during Phase I to do so.”
