Man, 37, kills self after strangling his two sons aged 4 &9 in Mbooni

A 37-year-old man has committed suicide after reportedly killing his two sons aged 4 and 9 by strangulation at Kiseveni village in Nduluku location Mbooni east.

The area Chief Jeremiah Makau confirmed the Wednesday morning incident saying the bodies of the two boys were found on the floor of their bedroom.

After conducting a search for the kid’s guardian, the search party discovered his body dangling on a tree.

Although the motive of the murder-suicide is not clear, neighbours said the man had marital differences with his wife who was not at home at the time.
