Leave Raila out of your party fights, ODM leaders tell Jubilee

Legislators from the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) have told off their Jubilee counterparts saying they should sort out their party wrangles on their own and leave Raila Odinga out of it.

Reiterating their support for the newly found partnership between Mr. Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta, the ODM leaders further criticised those attacking the attacking the Head of State over the handshake.

Ochillo Ayacko (Migori Senator), Tom Odege (Nyatike MP) and Antony Oluoch (Mathare MP) said Jubilee party must fight its own battles.

According to Dr. Ayacko, accusations that President Kenyatta has neglected the Central region in regards to development projects are unnecessary as he is not the president of particular community.

The Migori Senator added that they will protect the presidency as ODM legislators saying as it is a sign of unity in Kenya and therefore must be safeguarded.

His sentiments was echoed by Mr. Odege who said warned against roping in the ODM party.

Kasupul Kabondo MP Ong’ondo Were further took a swipe at Deputy President William Ruto urging him to forget running for the country’s top seat come 2022.

They were speaking on Friday during a burial in Awendo for the late Rosemary Sirawa, who was mother to area MP Walter Owino.
