Ksh 2M bounty for slain terror suspect widow

Police have placed a Ksh 2 million bounty on the head slain Al Qaeda operative Kasim Omollo’s widow.

Fatuma Masuo is wanted for allegedly hiding slain terror suspect Ismael Mohamed Shosi.

According to police, Ismael Shosi inherited the wife of slain terror suspect Omollo, who was gunned down in 2012 at Magodoroni area, Kisauni.

This comes just a day after Anti Terror police gunned down Shosi at Mwandoni area, just a few meters from Kishada grounds in Kisauni, Mombasa County.

Security agencies claimed that Shosi was the mastermind of a series of terror attacks and recruitment of youth to join illegal terror groups in Somalia.
Shosi was gunned down at around 11.30 am in a house police said he had just moved into, two months ago.
 According to police, Shosi escaped police dragnet several occasion by disguising as a boda boda operator and also covering his face by wearing bui bui.
