Kitui: Three suspects arrested for selling bhang, heroin during curfew hours

Police in Mwingi town, Kitui County, are holding three suspects who were arrested for allegedly selling narcotic drugs during curfew hours.

John Muasya, Paul Mumo, and Julius Muasya – all aged between 23 and 24 – were arrested while hawking heroin concealed in seven sachets and 10 rolls of bhang.

Police officers believe that the trio intended to sell the illegal drugs to twilight girls who roam the town in search of “bread and butter.”

The suspects are in custody pending arraignment in court for being in possession of and trafficking in narcotics.
