Kameru, Airforce Commander Sworn In

He was sworn in at State House Nairobi this morning alongside new Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Samuel Ng’ang’a Thuita have been sworn in.


Among those who witnessed the swearing in ceremony was President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto


The President advised the new appointees to join other government officials in ensuring delivery of effective and efficient service to Kenyans.


Kameru now takes over from Gichangi who resigned several weeks ago citing personal reasons


Major General Thuita was appointed to replace former KA Commander Maj General Joff Otieno who has retired.


The swearing in ceremony was conducted by the Head of Public Service and Chief of Staff Joseph Kinyua


Those in attendance included Defence Forces boss General Julius Karangi, Defence Cabinet Secretary Raychelle Omamo, National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale, and Parliamentary Defence Committee chair Ndungu Gethenji.
