Kalonzo meets former President Moi in Kabarak

Wiper party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka paid a courtesy call to retired President Daniel arap Moi on Friday at his Kabarak home in Nakuru County.

The two leaders discussed various issues including Musyoka’s role in the South Sudan peace process.

“I wish you well in your new role of midwifing a sustainable peace deal in South Sudan,” the former president told Mr. Musyoka.

The former Vice President briefed his former boss on the new role and promised to keep him informed on the peace process.

On his part, the former Head of State called on leaders to unite the country and be honest in their leadership.

“Some of you will be presidents and ministers in charge of the country. You need to take time and know the whole country and develop friendship,” said Moi.

Kalonzo was accompanied by his son Kennedy Musyoka (EALA MP), Senators Enock Wambua, Mutula Kilonzo Jnr, and Kanchory Memusi was received by Senator Gideon Moi, MPs William Kamket (Tiaty) and Silas Tiren (Moiben).
