Justices Wanjala, Ibrahim absent as Supreme Court delivers full judgment

Justices Smokin Wanjala and Mohamed Ibrahim have skipped the delivering of the full judgment on the nullification of August 8 presidential poll.

Chief Justice David Maraga said Justice Wanjala had to travel outside the country has filed his judgment.

Meanwhile, police have heightened security outside the Supreme Court with roads near the court sealed off by anti-riot police positioned on City Hall Way, Taifa Road and part of Wabera Street directing away motorists and pedestrians.

The latest blockade come after the Judicial Service Commission accused Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet of ignoring their calls to beef up security for judicial officials and court precincts in the wake of threats.
