In the last 20 years, he has grown through the ranks in Telekom Kenya assuming different roles at management level even as the company underwent transformation.

During this period, Osman has been involved in computerization of finance processes, ISO certification programmes and development of financial management policies.

Osman holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Nairobi.

The IEBC  hired  Marjan Hussein Marjan  as a new deputy CEO even as Mr Wilson Shollei continues to draw a salary for the same position following his reinstatement by court in 2014.

Shollei was among five senior officials fired in August 2014 over irregularities in the purchase of voter identification services during the 2013 general elections.

Shollei was handed a lifeline after the Industrial Court in December handed him back his job for wrongful dismissal.
