Homabay MP In Court Over Fraud Charges

It is alleged that between 26th of January and 29th of February 2012, Kaluma jointly with others conspired with intent to defraud Debora Aduda by offering to sell her an acre of land located in Karen which is valued at 10 million shillings.

Kaluma faced with a second count of offering to lease another acre of land valued at 6 million shillings to a land buyer.

On the third count it is alleged that he obtained 313,000 shillings from Constantine George by falsely pretending that he was in a position to represent him to enter into a lease agreement.

Kaluma denied all the charges and he is out on cash bail of 50,000 shillings.

The case will be heard on the 4th of November, 2014.
