Four suspects arrested for destroying billboards in Ruiru

Four suspects are set to be arraigned in court on Monday for allegedly vandalizing billboards belonging to the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) in Ruiru, Kiambu County.

Ruiru OCPD James Ng’etich said the four; a woman and three middle-aged men were found destroying the billboards at Kahawa Sukari area.

According to the OCPD, the billboards were erected by the area MP Simon Nganga King’ara in conjunction with KURA who are tarmacking five impassable roads in Kahawa Sukari.

The police boss cautioned the youth against being used by politicians to commit crimes, warning that such tendencies will not be tolerated.

“We will not hesitate to arrest and charge you; remember you will solely bear the consequences of your misbehavior,” said the OCPD.
