DP Ruto’s five reasons why Jubilee deserves a second term
Deputy President, William Ruto, on Saturday (August 5) exuded confidence that Jubilee Party’s President Uhuru Kenyatta will trounce Opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential flag bearer, Raila Odinga, in the Tuesday General Election.
The DP highlighted five reasons why he feels that the Jubilee regime has perfected since it took office in 2013 and therefore warrants a re-election.
Speaking during the last campaign rally at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru, the DP said that Jubilee is the only party with an all-inclusive face of Kenya thus promoting peace and unity, a track record of performance, a credible and a practical plan for food production that includes construction of 57 dams across the country.
“Jubilee is the only party that has a track record performance including building 92 referral hospitals across the country, construction of the Standard Gauge Railway, connecting four million Kenyans to electricity and many other milestone projects,” said the DP.
DP Ruto launched a scathing attack on opposition leaders, who he says, did nothing to Kenyans when they were in government and called upon Kenyans to turn out in large numbers and re-elect President Kenyatta.
“I want to urge you people of Nakuru and the whole country to vote for Jubilee come Tuesday so that we finish on our projects like the actualization of the Naivasha Industrial Park and the second phase of the Standard Gauge Railway.”
