DP Ruto’s daughter June to marry Nigerian fiancé

Deputy President William Ruto’s daughter June is officially off the market.

She held her Koito — the Kalenjin traditional ceremony that involves negotiating a bride’s dowry — over the weekend.

June, who is Kenya’s Charge d’Affaires in Poland, got engaged to her Nigerian fiancé — Alexander Ezenagu — at her father’s home Karen.

Her soon-to-be husband is a Hamad Bin Khalifa University assistant law professor who specializes in international tax law, transfer pricing, and tax planning.

The event was attended by close family and friends.

On Sunday, Mama Rachel Ruto tweeted a few photos from the engagement party.

“Every mother’s joy is to share life’s family values, lessons, and milestones with her daughter,” she said, adding, “My heartfelt congratulations, love, and prayers to my daughter June on her new chapter.”
