Dead brothel owner wins elections in Nevada

Nevada voters on Tuesday night elected deceased Republican Dennis Hof, who was a renowned owner of legal brothels in America, a restaurateur, entrepreneur and actor.

Hof defeated Democratic challenger Lesia Romanov by more than 7,000 votes, the Nevada Secretary of State’s office said.

By the time of his death he had long expressed his intention to represent the Nevada Assembly’s 36th District, up against Democratic educator Lesia Romanov. His name remained on the ballot, as they had already been printed out and it was too late to change.

Hof’s seat will, however, be taken up by another republican according to the State law.

He died on October 16 in his sleep after his 72nd birthday – October 14, which went for three to four nights of celebrations.

There were no reports of him ailing. Hof’s campaign manager, Chuck Muth, said that he was “having the time of his life” that night.

His body was discovered at his Love Ranch in Nevada by porn star Ron Jeremy and a prostitute according to CNBC.

Dennis Hof was known to be a great supporter of President Donald Trump, calling himself the ‘Trump of Parhump [a town in Nevada]’.

According to CNBC, Hof earlier this year said that Trump’s 2016 victory to the White House inspired him to run for office.

He has also written the book, ‘The Art of the Pimp’, which has been compared to Trump’s ‘The Art of the Deal’.

His campaign manager congratulated his boss on Twitter saying that Hof “crushed his opponent”, even “from the great beyond”.
