Cops arrest 2 suspects who violently attacked and robbed a Boda Boda rider
Two robbery-with-violence suspects; Melbin Amboka and James Gachie were on Sunday evening arrested after attacking a Boda Boda rider and leaving him for the dead.
The two, the DCI said in a statement on Monday, attacked the victim on Juja Road ‘violently, leaving him bleeding profusely from a cut on his head’
The rider was assisted by civilians to the Pangani Police station whereupon filing a report, detectives hit the road, recovering the stolen motorbike in Kayole near the Tumaini SDA Church.
The DCI said the suspect who is still at large is believed to have been hiring young men to steal motorbikes for a fee.
Detectives recovered a motorcycle last night, after it had been violently snatched from its owner. The rider had been attacked by two assailants along Juja road at around 9pm, leaving him bleeding profusely from a cut inflicted on his head. pic.twitter.com/LcHk4Z8IsJ
