A class six boy is nursing wounds after an explosive device went off in class.
The Mautuma Primary School pupil has been admitted to Lumakanda Hospital in Bungoma after the device that he had picked on the road exploded while in class.
“I picked it on the road and when I got to school I washed it and retuned it in my pocket. I tried to open it with a toothpick and then again with a compass then I closed it,” he said.
