17-year-old boy arrested for stabbing man in suspected love triangle

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested for stabbing a 20-year-old man in a fight over a woman at Ndiru Trading Center in Rangwe.
The suspect identified as George Bush Ombe allegedly stabbed and seriously injured Justus Bunde during a physical fight on Wednesday night.
Reports say Bunde was approached by the suspect at Ndiru Trading center who accused him of bedding his wife, orchestrating a heated argument.
Kagan West Chief Kennedy Okoko who confirmed the incident said Ombe who was armed with knife overpowered Mr. Bunde, stabbed him twice on the back before disappearing into the night.
Police officers would later trail him to his parents home, arresting him on Thursday morning.
He has been detained at the Rangwe Police Station pending his arraignment in court on Friday.
The victim is receiving treatment at the Homa Bay County Refferal Hospital.
