Celebrity couples have been splitting up left right and centre which has left many believe that there are no celebrity couples who can stand the test of time.

However, there are couples who have been together for quite sometime,others more than a decade and are stronger than ever.

With that being said, there are Vvery few things sweeter than seeing a man declare his undying love for his wife.

1. Ababu Namwamba

ODM Secretary General Ababu Namwamba this year showed that beneath his tough exterior lies a lovey dovey kitten.

The Budalangi legislator, who was hosted on the Power Breakfast, gushed about his lovely wife and the life they share together.

The legislator intimated that family and service to God are the most important things to him, saying that his best times are spent with his wife in their home.

“You should find a way to spend time with the one you love within your circumstances,” said Namwamba.

He has been known to take his wife on exotic vacations after photos of their holidays overseas surfaced on social media.

2. Will Smith

The details of Will Smith’s marriage to Jada Pinkett Smith has been a subject of tabloid rumor for several years.

Smith, 46, got fed up of the rumpurs and took to his Facebook page to put up an official statement “under normal circumstances, I don’t usually respond to foolishness. (Because it’s contagious).”

“But, so many people have extended me their ‘deepest condolences’ that I figured what the hell… I can be foolish, too!” He said.

“So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness… Jada and I are…NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Smith added that if he ever decided to divorce “I SWEAR I’ll tell you myself!”

Pinkett Smith, 43,who is an actress in the movie “Magic Mike XXL” and in the TV crime show “Gotham,” married Smith in 1997.

They are parents to teen actor Jaden Smith and 14-year-old singer Willow Smith.

3. Wyre

Wyre celebrated his seventh year in marriage in 2015.

Wyre’s wife knew him during ‘his hustle days’ and they dated for 8 years before getting married.

Wyre values family so much that he looks forward to being with them every evening, which he terms as his favorite time.

He says learning how to bring up contentious issues and dealing with them amicably without outside intervention is key to family unity.

“Whatever issues you are going through, the end result should be you’re still together,” he intimated.

5. Brad Pitt

Actor Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie haven’t been married for very long, but after being together for a decade and marrying just over a year ago these two are still going strong.

Brad Pitt wrote an emotive piece on his wife Jolie which was one of the most shared posts on Facebook:

“My wife got sick. She was constantly nervous because of problems at work, personal life, her failures and children. She lost 30 pounds and weighted about 90 pounds. She got very skinny and was constantly crying. She was not a happy woman. She had suffered from continuing headaches, heart pain and jammed nerves in her back and ribs.”

“She did not sleep well, falling asleep only in the mornings and got tired very quickly during the day. Our relationship was on the verge of a break up. Her beauty was leaving her somewhere, she had bags under her eyes, she was poking her head, and stopped taking care of herself.”

6. Nameless

Nameless has been married to fellow musician Wahu Kagwi for 10 years.

In an exclusive interview with Citizen Digital, Nameless admitted that, just like many other marriages, his is not hiccup-free.

Despite occasional marital problems, Nameless said Wahu is the best thing that has ever happened to him. Given the chance to go back in time, Nameless says he would marry her gain.

“I am blessed!” He said excitedly, adding: “When I met Wahu, she was my first love – and the minute I saw her, I was sure I wanted her for a wife.”

On May 10, Namelessalso swept Wahu off her feet with a touching Mothers’ Day video tribute at the Village Market.

In the clip, Nameless called Wahu ‘the mother of the century’. His gesture sent social media platforms into a frenzy.

Recounting the act, Nameless said he pulled the memorable stunt because Wahu deserved and still deserves it.

7. 2Face Idibia

In the newly released published 2Face Idibia biography, A very good Bad Guy, his wife, Annie Idibia, narrates the story of how they met when she was just 15-years-old. 

However, in an interview with with popular Nigerian tabloid, he disclosed why he chose his wife.

“I have been fortunate enough to meet a couple of nice ladies in life and two of them even have children for me. But I think that Annie and I understand each other more.” He said during the interview.

“As with matters of the heart, it is very difficult sometimes to find the right words to explain it. Somehow, you just know that this is the particular person that you want to stay with.” He added.

8. Kanye West
   

Kanye West has never been shy about gushing about his wife, popular socialite Kim Kardashian.

He continuously has nice things to say about her and her family and also publicly affectionate with her.

In an interview at SHOW studio he said, “I’m happy for the normal reasons to be happy. Because I married the woman of my dreams and I have a beautiful daughter and so many beautiful people around me.”

In another interview in the previous year the rapper marveled about Kim.

“Kim is this girl who turns me on,” he confessed. “I love her. This is who I want to be next to and be around.”

“You mean to tell me that this girl with this body and this face is also into style, and she’s a nice person, and she has her own money and is family-oriented? That’s just as cool as a fighter jet or dinosaur! And just as rarely seen,” he added.
