Jua Cali to work with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg?

It seems that the sun has yet to set on Genge star Jua Cali’s musical career.

The Ngeli ya Genge hit maker has been quiet for some time, even after announcing that he was releasing his latest album in September. The veteran musician, however, disappointed fans after he failed to drop the album as announced.

So what held him back?  Is it because he has been working on engaging global stars to advance his music career?

Well, speaking to Tanzania’s Mtanzania, Jua Cali said that he finding a way to grow his brand internationally.

“Am confident I will do great things because I have done it before.” He said.

“I have been silent due to circumstances which have been beyond my control, but now I’m planning to do great things I have never done before. Plans are underway to work together with American stars Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg which will give me a chance to go international,” he added.

Dr. Dre is an American record producer, rapper and entrepreneur, founder and current CEO of Aftermath Entertainment and Beats Electronics.


Dre was previously the co-owner of, and an artist on Death Row Records and has produced albums for and overseen the careers of many rappers, including The D.O.C.Snoop DoggEminemXzibitKnoc-turn’al50 CentThe Game and Kendrick Lamar.

In 2014, Forbes ranked Dr. Dre as the second richest figure in the American hip-hop scene with a net worth of $550 million

Snoop Dogg on the other hand is known for his hit songs such as Gin and Juice and Who Am I (What’s My Name)?

He also made the headlines when he changed his moniker from Snoop Doggy Dog to Snoop Dog to Snoop Lion and DJ Snoopadellic.

As if that was not enough, In November 2015 he went ahead to roll out his weed brand, ‘Leafs by Snoop’ in partnership with marijuana dispensary chain Livwell.

Jua Cali has been in the music industry for 15 years. He released numerous hit songs like Ruka and Ngeli ya Genge underCalif Records, which he launched in partnership with DJ Clemmo.
