John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen announce babys gender

Model and wife to singer John Legend, Chrissy Teigen announced that they are expecting a daughter.

The model this on an Instagram post sharing a picture of her first ever cover of Vogue Magazine.

She expressing her joy for the cover because it was the cover of Vogue Thailand of which is her country.

It was a dream come true for the model turned ‘chef ‘.

“So proud and honored to have shot the cover of Vogue Thailand! Special to me for so many reasons…one being I am SO PROUD to be Thai, so excited to have shot a Vogue cover (a dream, of course).”

She also added the gender of their baby as it coincided with the release of the cover.

“And a couple minutes after this shot, John and I learned we were having our little baby girl!”

John Legend reposted her Instagram post and said: “Chrissy’s Vogue Thailand cover. From the day we found out we were pregnant with our baby girl.”

They first announced they were pregnant on the same platform in October

“John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant 🙂 As many of you know, we’ve been trying to have a baby for a while now,” she captioned the photo.”

Teigen  disclosed that the road to getting a baby had not been easy for the trendsetting couple.

“It hasn’t been easy, but we kept trying because we can’t wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family,” the model intimated.

Chrissy, who featured on his hit song All of Me, said that she is thankful to fans for their support.

Meanwhile, Legend shared the exciting news by posting the same photo, simply captioned, “We’re pregnant!”

Having been together for six years and married for two years, the duo felt that an addition to their family was long overdue.

“I swear to you, I thought I would’ve had one by now,” Teigen said talking to HuffPost Live on May 8, while chatting about babies.

“So, hopefully we’ll just have this Angelina-Brad-type brood. I would love that. I definitely want a lot of kids, though, and he does as well.” She added.

Teigen also said that she would definitely adopt, and she added that she hopes to have four children with Legend.

The Sports Illustrated star is pretty much an open book, especially when it comes to social media.

She also took to her new talk show with supermodel Tyra Banks, FABLife, to discuss the troubles she had when she was trying to become pregnant.

The daytime show, which airs on ABC, saw the two disclosing for the first time, their experience with fertility issues and pregnancy.

Following their engagement in 2011, Legend and Teigen tied the knot during a ceremony in Lake Como, Italy, in 2013.

The parents-to-be recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary on September 14th.
