Gloria Muliros ex-husband speaks out on cheating rumours

Pastor Eric Omba, the estranged husband of gospel bigwig Gloria Muliro, has taken to social media to clear the air on a bevy of beauties he was accused of cheating on his wife with.

The videographer on Tuesday, March 1 shared on Facebook a photo of himself amid four attractive ladies whom he referred to as his “daughters”.

Vehemently denying cheating claims, he captioned the image:  “Sometimes back this picture was all over in media, eti Eric Omba having affair(s) with these pretty young ladies whom I call my daughters and they call me dad.”

Gloria Muliro had in January 2015 alleged that Mr Omba cheated on her with several of her friends including a known upcoming gospel musician and several gospel music dancers.

According to Gloria, one of the dancers identified as Sly was the most disrespectful.

“The closeness between Sly and Eric knew no boundaries. Whenever they were together, he never used to behave like a married man. She went ahead to tell other girls that she had never seen a man as handsome as Eric and that she knew he did not love me. I came to find out that they were having an affair, just like he was with other girls. He would tell me that openly through provoking messages that he would post on Facebook and Twitter,” Gloria told Standard’s Pulse.

The singer in a different interview (KTN’s Tukuza) narrated her troubles of dealing with a violent and cheating husband.

“For me as woman and wife; I was dedicated and determined to make it (marriage) work. I am not saying I tried my best; I did my all best! It wasn’t easy. Maybe someone might ask the question – why did I have to stay in for five years going through all that? A lot of people may not understand, a lot of people may criticise – they have no idea. The few people in my circle, who really know and have the finer details, will tell you exactly,” she said in a different interview.

Pastor Omba soon after denied all the allegations the singer made in the interview and reiterated that he loved her and would never cheat on her.

One year later, Mr Omba has revealed the identity of the young women. He says he is a ‘father’ to them.

“Am the father and I will never stop being the father of many just because the devil is using someone to ruin people’s good reputation and I will never shy to love and support anyone that God brings my way,” read a post on his Facebook page.

Singer Gloria Muliro has since stated that she moved on after the failed marriage.

“I am moving on with my life, and the past is just that – the past! I am happy; very happy,” she affirmed.
