Zuri Health unveils mobile app for doctors to easily reach patients

Play Communications Limited subsidiary Play Zuri Health Limited has unveiled its first mobile application as it aims to further the reach of mobile-health solutions

This in line with the company’s goal of providing certified, affordable and accessible healthcare solutions via mobile applications and short message services (SMS).

The application provides users with access to a variety of professional services across Kenya including the ability of booking appointments, laboratory services and receiving prescriptions.

The unveiling of the mobile based application comes barely 12 months from the launch of the mobile-health start-up in February 2020.

The company seeks to offer affordable and accessible healthcare solutions across Sub-Saharan Africa by tapping onto the data bases of specialists, pharmacies, lab and diagnostics centres.

“Millions of people in Africa do not have access to quality medical care. At Zuri Health we have taken time to develop a product that will fill that gap, giving doctors a wider and easier platform to reach patients who need them. With Zuri Health the underserved populace can now access affordable and sustainable healthcare,” said Arthur Ikechukwu Anoke the C.E.O and co- Founder Zuri Health.

The company has set its goal on listing at least 20,000 doctors and 250,000 users over the next three years.
