Macdonald Obudho named new KNBS Director General
The board of the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) has picked an insider Macdonald Obudho to take over as the agency’s new Director General.
Obudho replaces Zachary Mwangi whose term on the post came to an end on Friday.
He has been with KNBS since 1995 serving on different capacities to include working as the agency’s Director in charge of population and social statistics.
Further Mr Obudho has followed in the footsteps of his predecessor who likewise through through the ranks at the statistician office to head the agency for the past six years.
Mcdonald Obudho holds a bachelors in statistics from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT)
