24-year-old man dies by suicide over broken relationship in Tharaka Nithi

A 24-year-old man has died by suicide due to a love gone sour in Tharaka Nithi.

County Police Commander Zacchaeus Ng'eno reported that the man, Kelvin Mwenda, jumped from a three-story building.

Police indicated that Mwenda was in a relationship with a 32-year-old woman named Joylyne Kendi.

It is reported that Mwenda showed up at Kendi's rented apartment, and when he was denied access, he jumped to his death.

His body has been transferred to Chuka Level 4 Hospital mortuary.
